Later census records show Ira's middle name as Woodrow, and even later his given name is listed as Woodrow, instead of Ira.

Crislip4, Edmond Hall Chrislip5) [755], born 27 June 1889, Philippi, Barbour County, West Virginia; died 15 July 1960, Fairmont, Marion County, West Virginia; burial in Mt. Crislip4, William Luther Chrislip5) [755], born September 1899, West Virginia; died 1 August 1931, Philippi, Barbour County, West Virginia. She married 1st, ca. 1916, Harry Graham, and 2nd, Walter Streets.

Information for the children of Edmond and Martha is taken from the 1900 and 1910 Federal Census records. Other records support Ira Lee Chrislip and Stewart Reed Chrislip. In the 1900 census, Stewart Reed Chrislip is not shown, but he would have been 9 years old. There is no explanation as to why he was not shown in that census. Also, Martha is shown to have given birth to 5 children, all of whom were living at the time. The 1910 census shows four children; Ira Lee, Stewart Reed, Eva, and Deory C. Martha is also shown to have given birth to six children, and only 4 of them still living. Thus, it is presumed that Howard passed away, and that Martha had another child who didn't survive between 1900 and 1910.
