Elizabeth Jane Chrislip

1843–1937

Elizabeth Jane Chrislip (Friedrich Carl Christlieb1, Jacob Christlieb2, Abram E. Chrislip3), born 7 April 1843, West Virginia; died 13 September 1937, at age 94, Carthage, Hancock County, Illinois. Elizabeth Jane Chrislip married, 27 September 1865, Albert A. Reeder, born 16 December 1841, West Virginia; died 22 December 1900 Carthage, Hancock County, Illinois. The 1870 census shows that Elizabeth and Albert Reeder had moved to Carthage Twp., Hancock County, Illinois. The 1880 census shows that Alpheus and Julia Ann Corder had also moved to Hancock County, Illinois and were living in St. Mary’s Township near Elizabeth and Albert Reeder. Elizabeth Jane and Albert A. Reeder are both interred in Moss Ridge Cemetery in Carthage, Hancock County, Illinois.
