Nancy Caroline Christlieb

Nancy Caroline Christlieb (Friedrich Carl Christlieb1, Carl Christlieb2, Jacob Christlieb3) [1000], born 24 August 1835; married, 17 February 1864, in Mifflin Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, Jacob Hummel, born 2 June 1835, Wittenberg, Germany. Nancy and Jacob Hummel were lifelong residents of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Jacob Hummel followed farming all his life and was one of the best in his section of Cumberland County. He also produced fine stock of all kinds for market. Jacob Hummel died 14 March 1901. Nancy Caroline died 26 October 1916. Both are interred in the graveyard of the Old Brick Church at Centerville, located on the Walnut Bottom Road, halfway between Carlisle and Shippensburg in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
