The Amorbach Letter
Here follows the letter of invitation, in the original German script handwriting, that was sent to Christian Carl Reinhard of Leiningen, Count of Leiningen-Dachsburg-Heddesheim, on behalf of Simon aus Frankenstein. This letter has become affectionately known as The Amorbach Letter by the Christlieb-Chrislip-Crislip Family Association, because it was found in archives in the town of Amorbach. It has also been the custom of the family association to read this letter at each biennial reunion held by the association.
