Samuel Alexander Christlieb

1857–1930

Samuel Alexander Christlieb (Friedrich Carl Christlieb1, Carl Christlieb2, George Christlieb3, William Christlieb4) [943], born 22 December 1857, Lawn Dale Township, McLean County, Illinois; died 31 October 1930 in a crash between a wagon and two automobiles; married, ca. 1884, Susanna “Susan” A. Zumzlt, born October 1866. Samuel and Susan Christlieb settled in Paxton Township, Ford County, Illinois. In the 1900 census, Samuel is listed as a “teamster owner.”

  • Mable Christlieb (Friedrich Carl Christlieb1, Carl Christlieb2, George Christlieb3, William Christlieb4, Samuel Alexander Christlieb5) [943], born 28 July 1891; died 28 October 1971 in Oxnard, California; married Nicholas Klover.
